Community Supported Agriculture

What Is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a commitment made between the farmer and the consumer. It's a program where members pay upfront for a season of fresh, locally grown produce.

The farmer uses those payments to purchase seeds, growing supplies, and other necessities to grow food specifically for their members. Each week, members visit the farm or farmers market to pick up their bag of freshly harvested produce.

At the beginning of the season, each member fills out a preference sheet, letting us know what their family enjoys eating. We use those preferences to help select the seeds and plan what we'll grow throughout the season.

Unlike shopping at a grocery store, joining a CSA means becoming part of the farming journey. Your membership helps us plan ahead, purchase supplies, and dedicate growing space to your family's food. In return, you receive fresh, seasonal produce and other farm goodies while getting a firsthand look at how your food is grown.

Members also receive a weekly email newsletter filled with growing tips, recipe ideas, storage suggestions, and fun adventures from life on the farm. They get to follow along throughout the growing process, from seed to table!

Because we are a small regenerative farm, we intentionally keep our CSA membership exclusive. Each season, we accept only a limited number of members so we can dedicate the time, attention, and growing space needed to provide each family with a diverse selection of seasonal produce without compromising the quality of our produce or our regenerative farming practices.

Community Supported Agriculture is a wonderful way to eat seasonally, enjoy fresh, organically grown food, connect with the land where your food is grown, and support your local farmer at the same time.
